RISE is dedicated to helping people find freedom from cycles of incarceration. At RISE, transformation starts pre-release and continues post-release. RISE uses an inside/out model that bridges incarceration to the community and considers all the critical steps in that journey. Their programming includes character development, employment readiness, job creation through entrepreneurship and case management.
Electronic Frontier Foundation
The Electronic Frontier Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization defending civil liberties in the digital world. EFF champions user privacy, free expression, and innovation through impact litigation, policy analysis, grassroots activism, and technology development. They work to ensure that rights and freedoms are enhanced and protected as our use of technology grows.
Sheridan School Parent Teacher Organization
Sheridan Elementary School, engages students, staff, families, and the community to increase achievement and create a safe, respectful, and responsible environment for learning collaboratively. Specialist teachers provide instruction in Physical Education, Music, Art, Technology, and Library Media resources and work together to support our positive school culture and climate.
MilkWorks
MilkWorks was founded in 2001 by a group of mothers, who wanted all mothers to have access to breastfeeding support. Breastfeeding is something women have done since the beginning of time. It is also a skill that must be learned and practiced. MilkWorks’ knowledgeable, compassionate staff develop trusting relationships with their clients with the goal is to provide each mom with the care she needs to meet her personal feeding goals.

Mutual Aid Disaster Relief
Mutual Aid Disaster Relief is a grassroots disaster relief network based on the principles of solidarity, mutual aid, and autonomous direct action. Mutual Aid is a decentralized network, defined by the character and creativity of a multitude of communities. Its members are drawn together by a collective commitment to stand in solidarity with those impacted by disasters and turn the tide in favor of justice.
Child Advocacy Center
The Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization providing a safe, child friendly location for conducting forensic interviews and medical evaluations for abused children in Southeast Nebraska. Through the efforts of its Board, staff and volunteers, the Child Advocacy Center has established itself as an organization that makes a difference for children and families in our community.

Food Bank of Lincoln
Since 1982, the Food Bank of Lincoln has focused on alleviate hunger in Southeast Nebraska. The Food Bank’s dedicated team and partner agencies work together to put food on the tables of those in need. They serve 16 counties in Southeast Nebraska: Polk, York, Fillmore, Thayer, Butler, Seward, Saline, Jefferson, Saunders, Lancaster, Gage, Otoe, Johnson, Pawnee, Nemaha and Richardson.
